Life sciences

AI training for life sciences teams, on the GMP decisions they make every week.

Instructor-led courses for pharma and medical device. Pairs work through batch release, deviations, drift on the line and audit trails with AI beside them, and every decision is scored.

Delivered with NIBRT in Dublin since June 2026.

Two courses, built from the decisions your people make.

What trainees practise

The calls your people make, practised before they count.

Each exercise ends in a decision a pair has to make and defend, on a scenario built from real site work.

  1. Bioreactor pH excursion: root cause investigation Pharma
  2. The CAPA investigation copilot Medical device
  3. In-process control drift: stop the fill line? Pharma
  4. Drift on the line: stop or ship? Medical device
  5. Audit trail review: data integrity red flags Pharma
  6. Audit-ready AI: device history record red flags Medical device
  7. Batch record exception triage Pharma
  8. Column lifetime prediction: replace it now? Pharma

The idea

The AI is right about what it can see. People add what only people know.

Trainees learn what AI does well, where to be sceptical of it and when to trust their own judgement. In the pharma course some of the AI's answers are wrong on purpose, because the lesson there is scepticism.

A chart from the Golden Batch exercise: a pale band, the golden tunnel, holds 42 good batches; one batch leaves it at hour 196.

01Evidence, not attendance

Every trainee leaves with a course record of scored decisions, so you can show what your people can do, not that they signed in.

02Fewer avoidable errors

Over 80% of process deviations in pharma are attributed to human error, a causal factor rather than a root cause. Better judgement targets that share.

03Practice after the course

Alumni keep practising on their own device for 12 months, with their own work preserved, so the course does not end at the door.

Questions life sciences teams ask.

Do trainees need to know anything about AI before the course?

No. Most trainees on the flagship course have never had a conversation with an AI model before the first exercise, so that exercise is an open conversation with no mark. The course starts from the work trainees already do.

Does it work without a GMP suite?

Yes. The course runs in an ordinary classroom, and a physical GMP suite is not required.

What does each trainee leave with?

A co-branded certificate, a full course record of their decisions and scores, and an alumni code to keep practising on their own device for 12 months.

Does the course certify EU AI Act compliance?

No. No course can certify EU AI Act compliance, and we do not claim to. The course builds the practical AI literacy that Article 4 of the Act asks organisations to ensure in their staff.

Bring one cohort. See the record they leave with.
