Food and beverage

AI training for food and beverage teams, built on a real week on the line.

A one-day course for operations, planning, quality, engineering and maintenance. Pairs plan the week, choose the weekend's maintenance and release batches with AI beside them, and every decision is scored.

Status Built and run in demos. The first paying cohort has not run yet.

Exercise S3, Release the week's batches: the pair's own call, Hold, recorded first, then the AI's call shown beside it with the option to agree or override.
Exercise S3, Release the week's batches: your call first, then the AI's.

The day

Four decisions on one drinks plant.

Set on a fictional drinks plant. A short practice run first, then four scored exercises, each ending in a call the pair has to make and defend.

S1

The week on the line.

Find where a week on the filling plant loses money, test the AI's proposed plan on the plant model, then choose your fixes.

S2

Pumps and valves: fix it before it stops.

Choose the weekend's maintenance jobs with an AI that reads the condition data and prices each failure.

S3

Release the week's batches.

Check the AI's release or hold call on each flagged batch against the record and the rules, then decide.

S4

Dispatch: Monday 14:00, the plan breaks.

A crane faults and a bottler is about to run dry; direct an AI planning agent and decide what ships.

The AI is right. The skill is using it well.

In this course the AI tools are right about what they can see. The skill is using them: testing the AI's plan on the plant model, checking its release calls against the record, and telling it what it does not know, like a call from sales that changes the week.

Three AI personas sit beside the pairs: a process and reliability engineer, a head of quality and a head of supply chain planning. Each is labelled as AI, answers from what is on the screen and never makes the call.

How we measure the return
Product screen: a debrief score of 81 out of 100, Excellent, with four scored dimensions.
Every exercise ends in a score on four dimensions, with written feedback.

What each person leaves with.

  • A co-branded certificate
  • A full course record of every decision and score
  • An alumni code to keep practising for 12 months

Questions food and beverage teams ask.

What happens to what our people type into the exercises?

It is stored in the EU, in Ireland. AI requests go through our server-side proxy to Anthropic, which processes them in the US under a data processing agreement and standard contractual clauses. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs for training by default.

What does each trainee leave with?

A co-branded certificate, a full course record of their decisions and scores, and an alumni code to keep practising on their own device for 12 months.

How is it different from an e-learning module?

An instructor runs it in a room, trainees work in pairs, and every exercise ends in a decision that is scored and debriefed. E-learning records that someone finished a module. Symerse records the calls they made.

Does the course certify EU AI Act compliance?

No. No course can certify EU AI Act compliance, and we do not claim to. The course builds the practical AI literacy that Article 4 of the Act asks organisations to ensure in their staff.

Bring one cohort. See the record they leave with.
